Installation Error jsmffrontend

i installed Joomla-SMF1.1.2 and com_smf_2_0, i can't figure out what's wrong.

Fatal error: Unknown(): The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition jsmffrontend of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded _before_ the session was started in /public_html/index.php on line 69

Line 68: require_once($jsmfConfig->smf_path."/SSI.php");
Line 69: $jsmf =& jsmfFrontend::singleton();
Line 70: $jsmf->restoreVars($savedVars);

Id be interested if anyone else has this problem and is there a solution?

I have the same error. Joomla 1.0.12 JSMF 2.02 SMF 1.1.2

com_smf smf.class.php exists where it should be. All patched

Please help.

I have the same problem, same error. (Mambo 4.5.5 + SMF 1.1.2.)

This looks like a great component; would love to get it working for CB integration. The bridge offered at SMF has just been a pile of problems...

My system:

mySQL 4.1.21
php 5.0.5
Mambo 4.5.5 Stable [ Arpie ]
SMF 1.1.2
Joomla-SMF Forum 2.0.2

Since this error often means the patches were not installed because of file write protections, I changed them from 755 to 777. They're definitely patched. After patching, I got a 500 internal server error. Eventually it went away and was replaced by this:

Then that error went away, and I got my home page a few times. Trying to log in or just browse different pages resulted in this error.

Please ensure that the class definition "jsmfFrontend" of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded _before_ unserialize() gets called or provide a __autoload() function to load the class definition in ../public_html/index.php on line 56

Occasionally the first error returns as well...they both appear to come up rather randomly.

Has any one figured this error out?

I'm gettting the exact problem too.
