Not able to edit users forum profile

Users are not able to edit the forum profile information when accessing smf through the bridge. They just get to see the profile summary (index.php?action=profile;u=2;sa=summary). If they login directly there is no problem.

This means that users are not able to alter the avatars, their birthday, their personal message etc.

Joomla 1.0.12
SMF 1.1.2
Bridge 2.0.2
NO CB

I have tried different themes, but with the same result.

EDIT: also the stats, show messages, track ip in the profile does not work.
But the PM and the notifications do work.

I have exactly the same problem.
Did you already solve this?

It appears to be related with SEF and the url translation:

When i completely disactivate Search engine friendly urls in the global configuration everything works fine and the url looks like
option=com_smf&Itemid=39&action=profile;u=23;sa=forumProfile

When reactivating the search engine friendly urls but with 404SEF skipping the com_smf component the url looks like this
index.php?option=com_smf&itemid=39&action=profile&u=23&sa=forumprofile

Using this url the profile summary is shown instead

Hi I have had this problem ever since I started using this bridge.

For all the good things this was one crucial bug I couldn't figure out if it was the bridge or my SEF component.

But now I have the answer!!

The problem is here- forumprofile is not the same as forumProfile!

Note the capital P people. The URL can be customised to make it work or whatever, but that is it.

It may have been answered before in this forum but it has taken until now for me to find the answer an I thought I'd share my findings.
