Users deleted in SMF aren't deleted in Joomla / CBE
« on: January 28, 2007, 10:33:09 AM »

Hi!

Since 2 weeks I'm using SMF1.1.1 together with CBE 1.0.2, Joomla 1.0.12 and JSMF 2.0.

The installation was very easy and I thought everythings works fine but today I noticed a small error that might be due to my configuration. I deleted some users in the admin panel of SMF 1.1.1 and hoped that they were deleted in the the CBE usertable and Joomla usertable as well, but they aren't Cry.

Then I deleted some users directly in the Joomla! Backend and they went also deleted in the CBE userslist but not in SMF.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

I just want to have a full synchronization of all 3 usertables (CBE, Joomla! and SMF).

Maybe someone could help.

Thanks!
Benny

did you delete the users in SMF when in standalon mode(not in bridged mode)?

Per the user guide, no user modifcation should be done in Joomla user manager since those actions do not sync.  Use CB or SMF to manage your users.

I've got it!
I hadn't installed the JSMF CB plugin 2.0.1 Grin.

It was not included in the JSMF 2.0 Zipfile so I forgot to install it.
After completly reading the JSMF User Guide I became aware of my mistake^^

The only problem now is that if I delete users via SMF they will not be deleted in CBE but if I delete them in CBE they are also deleted in SMF.
