Inserting content effects into error message
« on: January 18, 2007, 03:06:13 PM »

OK i use:

Version Information:
Your Joomla version is: 1.0.12
Your SMF version is: 1.1.1
Your Joomla-SMF version: 2.0
Serverstuff is up to date...(Php, Apache, MySQL)

I am having several problems which i wasn't able to solve by using the FAQ and by searching the forums.
----------------------
#1 My users are getting logged out all the time while switching the section/module of my page (for example going from forum to gallery or guestbook). Something is making problems there

#2 I just added some content to a category of my JOOMLA! recently. Now everytime i wanna open the Section (which is parental to the category the content item belongs to) I am getting redirected to the forums with the following error message there:
Code:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' 0, 1, SUBSTRING('[community] asdfg', 1, 255), SUBSTRING('[url=http://h
Datei: /www/springer/springer-wt.de/htdocs/priv/smf/Sources/Subs-Post.php
Zeile: 1518

If u wanna have a look at it go here: http://www.springer-wt.de/priv and click on NEWS which is left navigation.
--------------------------

These problems occure since i installed the bridge and I cannot find the damn problem....

1) check that all your live site settings are the same.  Make sure you don't have J! set to http://www.springer-wt.de and the forums set to simply http://springer-wt.de

2)If you have the discussbot installed and auto create is enabled but you have not set a default discussion board you would get an error message like that when viewing J! content.

The configured URLs are all http:/www.springer-wt.de/etc..... So is there any other possible reason for the problem??
----
As for the dicussbot:
You are correct with guessing that I put that setttings but i configured the default board...I put in the ID of the board, is that correct??

No, please read the User Guide and the help.  You must use the name of the board.
