Apache Error

Hi there,

I've installed the latest Versions of Joomla and SMF. With the CMS Bridge from SMF the Forum works fine.

Installation of com_smf_2_0.zip works fine, but if i click on the Forum Link Apache reports an error:

AppName: apache.exe    AppVer: 2.2.0.0    ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180    Offset: 00010f29




Whats wrong here? I'm using Xampp

I have the same problem using uniform server

i did have to rename the section.save_path line of php to false to get the installer to run as im trying to develop my joomla site on my pc but since then i have got either a blank screen or just this apache error

Anyone know how to fix this please

in a bit of a pickle otherwise

strange

i have just been playing around with the config settings.

i changed add joomla/mambo meta keywords and debug to enable and now it works.

is that safe to leave it that way ?

or will it work without the debug set to enable when on a normal webserver?

basically does anyone know what causes this in the first place

sorry about the triple post but just to say i have now tried this with

SMF v1.1.1 and SMF 2.0

still gives the same problem even with debug enabled.

could this be a uniform server error?
maybe the same with xamp too

ill try not to post again now
