Admin Login Loop

After upgrading to Joomla 1.0.12 and SMF 1.1.1, I was about to lgin to the admin site to install the JSMF 2.0 com and mods. I can no longer login to the admin page. It does not give me an error like wrong UN/PW. It simply goes back to the admin login page with a message 'You need to login." I was able login after upgrading to 1.0.12.

I have a post on the SMF site, too. Just seeing if anyone here knows of a fix.

I had a similiar problem but it went away after I changed my Internet Explorer settings to Privacy = LOW. Not the best thing to do, but no one else seems to come up with a clear explanation of why joomla has this problem.
