Can somebody recommend a template or hack?

Hiya JSMF Gurus,

I am trying to customise the layout of SMF within my Joomla Wrapper so that only the bare essentials display in there.

What I am endeavouring to do here is have only the forum section display in my wrapper and to somehow disable the display of the SMF header section at the top and also the SMF info panel at the bottom.

I have SMF linked to CB, with plugins for member profile and private messaging, and my users online is already displayed in Joomla sidebar, so the only extra user options I need inside the SMF wrapper is the forum search box and maybe the unread topics button.

Would this kind of customisation require a hack or a particular template, and if there exists such a template would somebody be kind enough to point me in the right direction?
