whats the difference between here and simplemachines bridge ?

I need to bridge my latets Joomla release and rc3 smf
whats the diference between the bridges from one site to the other ?
This is confusing on knowing which to use and why.

I need something like everyone thats going to "work" I dont have time to play around with beta stuff or things thats going to cause my site to break and wait weeks to get it fixed.

I have a site that needs to go live in 2 weeks or less and I just dont know which bridge to use... since I still need to fix my forums (somehow) after using a converter from IPB to SMF.

And time is limited.

Good advice be appreciated.

All I want to do is have joomla and smf share same login, infact I dont even think I care if people can only login from the forums... but I need forums to be inside the joomla theme.. in a wrapper.

The current version here is still a release candidate so I cannot and will not say it will be entirely stable for your site. For a comparison check here:

Hello and thank you for the reply.

I looked further into the pdf manual and released this only works with smf + Joomla sharing same databases and mine do not and thats a problem.

Great pdf by the way.

Yes, you do things the right way(actually reading the documentation!) Wink

Unfortunately my code base does not support separate databases. We have talked about adding that in the future, but no firm plans at the moment because I am a bit swamped with other more important fixes. Sorry.
