Where do I install SMF?!

Hi there, can SOMEBODY please help me!?!?!

I recently started a website. Joomla is already installed(someone else did it) and now I want to install SMF, but I have no idea where to do it!

Can anyone please tell me exactly where?

generally you should install in a subdirectory under your webroot. A subdirectory like smf or forum. For more instructions check out the JSMF 2.0 user guide and the simple machines websites.
