I think I ironed out all the reported bugs save for one and I need only to add one option for an enhancement that was built in due to the large memory usage on sites with many users.  I think I may be able to get RC3 to the test team by tomorrow night or wednesday at the latest, depending on the last bug I need to work out.

Grin - looking forward to it

I am not sure if this has been covered. I searched but did not find any solutions.

It seems that my URL is incorrect.

index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=22&?board=5.0

There is an extra question mark (red above) in the URL causing the page to refresh and not go to the correct destination.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Thanks
This pretty much should never happen, especially for that link.  I explicitly remove all instances of &? so I am wondering what you have ran into here.

Hello there.

I've experienced kinda all the discussed problems.

My actual Version Information:
Joomla version is: 1.0.11
SMF version is: 1.1 RC3
Joomla-SMF version: 2.0 beta 3
SMF CB Plugin: 2.0 (Joomlahacks)

Now, I've another problems due to different cookies TTL.

I mean, sometime happens that I see my connection UP (who's online module) but i see the JSMF Login module asking me to sign in/up...

In these cases I have to login twice or close browser to re-align the situation.

I hoped that RC1 or 2 will solve them but now I'm worried.

Wolv, do u suggest me to upgrade (both JSMF and SMF CB plugin) or to wait for the next version/release.

Please, Realize that site is now in live status...

Btw, I could re-enable your administrator credentials if you want to check it up directly.

Many many thanks in advance,

ArMyBoT

did this just start happening?  Pretty much, if you go to the forum and you are not logged into one or the other you will be logged out of both.  However, no way to really catch that on the front page hence the strange behavior you saw.  Increasing your session lifetime in SMF should help.

Hi, when I click the link for SMF from my main Joomla! menu, Apache begins to 'hang', sometimes generating an error message, but more often just getting stuck in loading the page (index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=4). Often, I can see the wrapped forum, but page loading hangs at about 90% of the process. At this point, Apache begins to dominate CPU power, taking > 97% generally and if I open a new tab (Firefox) to serve pages from localhost, they will not load. The issue sounds similar to a previous post about CPU resource consumption going way up, but that was related to a large user base. In my case, there is happening after fresh installs with only one user: admin.

I am using:
Joomla 1.0.11
SMF 1.1 RC3
Community Builder 1.0.1
JSMF 2.0 RC2 with CB plugin
Xampp 1.5.1 to serve pages locally on Windows XP.

I'd appreciate any help I can get, as I'd really like to get this going. I have retried with fresh installs (simultaneously) of Joomla, SMF, CB, and JSMF and no other components, modules, etc.

Thanks.

P.S. I know RC3 is eminent, but I wanted to put this "out there".

I installed 2.0 RC2 and it works really great, had no problems at all Smiley

Only thing I can't find is the option that automatically the avatar of someone's CB profile is ported to SMF. The only option I saw is that a user have to this themselves by the smf_profile CB plugin.

Have I missed this option or is this a feature for later?

nobody did reply on my problem discribed above, i had downgraded to resolve temporarely. Magic quotes are on as required also by joomla. but the links still gets transformed into other links when using RC2, upgraded then to RC3 and in the beginning everything worked fine but again after a day the problem is here again :s
many links have something like this:
/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,140/topic,17.0/prev_next,prev/
instead of normal topic links

then following error when trying to submit new topic:
?option=com_smf&Itemid=140&action=quickmod&board=21.0&actions[627]=remove&sesc=b80c3d912fe6456de4fd737f4c592cc9
Pas filter toe: Toon alleen de fouten met hetzelfde bericht
1024: sendNotifications(): non-existant topic passed
Bestand: /var/www/html/forum/Sources/Subs-Post.php
Regel: 1417

other errors:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')
GROUP BY ID_BOARD' at line 3

Joomla 1.0.11
CB 1.0.3TB3 (also had the problems with CB 1.0.2)

install the smf-cb plugin that came along with the jsmf zip file you downloaded.

Hi, regarding Reply#81 that I posted recently:

I upgraded to xampp 1.5.4a and am no longer having problems loading JSMF 2.0 RC2 or my previous CPU consumption issues.

That is a normal link, the pervious and next at the top and bottom of each page.

Joomla 1.0.11
CB 1.0.3TB3 (also had the problems with CB 1.0.2)
JSMF CB plugin of RC3 release
That link is a quick mod link not a topic submit.  Is that the problem you are reporting?
