first of all, you should grab RC3 in this thread, which has the JSMF user guide linked:

i been trying to search all the posts here, smf forum, joomlapolis and joola but i cant get the right answer. I have the following installed;

Version Information:
Joomla version is: 1.0.11
SMF version is: 1.1
Joomla-SMF version: 2.0 RC3
CB 1.0.2

i installed smf on the same database as joomla

everything worked ok as far as commenting and such and linking and posting etc etc. My biggest problem is am getting a function /n error when i register using CB LOGIN. if i try the JOOMLA SMF log in...users dont get any email activation. WHats wrong with my configuration? I could have used the joomlaboard but i like the smf security and ease of use. Can someone help me with this problem.

thanks in advance

Good afternoon. I have a serious problem and I do not have nor idea of like solving it.
I use:
- Joomla 1.0.12
- SMF 1.1
- Com SMF 2.0
- Mod SMF Login 2.0.3
- SMF Arcade 1.5.1
- My web: www.malastic.com
- Forum in: www.malastic.com/foro

If I register to me through www.malastic.com/foro (using the connection to register itself = http://www.malastic.com/foro/index.php?action=register) it works perfectly.

The problem is that if I enter by Jooma (www.malastic.com) and give register (the route has changed a: http://www.malastic.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=72&action=register) leaves the first window to me to register to me, I give the data him, but no longer it leaves the following window confirmation and it does not get to register.

You could indicate to me that I must do. I feel my level of English, but I am Spanish and I am using google for the translation.

Thanks.
