Just wait for the final release off 2.0. There has been a lot of testing with sef and so on. Wink

disable function caching

that was put in for just this kind of thing, as a way for me to test a specific function call which appears to be the root of this problem.

i'm sorry to say that it is still not good:

and not the topic link

that's the only one i've found right now.

There is nothing more I can do without seeing this firsthand.  Are you using a 3rd party sef?

no 3rd party sef
just normal SMF 1.3 (with official RC3 patch) with Joomla 1.0.11
JSMF CB plugin latest on CB1.0.2TB4

when it happens again i'll send you the complete html source, or do you really have to get acces to all?

I just need to view the site with JSMF debugging enabled when it happens, I don't need backend access.

good news, it's there again, i'm switching debugging on now

aargh, why is it always happening a day after saving the config, enabling the debugging option fixes everything, always when saving config everything works fine, then wait about a day and the problems appear...
But i can't let those debugmessages on on a live site, not good that all users see those messages :s

RC3 is emminent... prolly this weekend.  And I have barely started on 1.5 compatiblity.  I probably won't really dive into it until at least Beta 2 which is who knows how long away.  Then you have at least one RC... its gonna be at least 3 months before J! 1.5 is stable enough to think about live sites.  Plus I have enough work to finish up here for the JSMF 2.0 final.

JSMF 2.0 RC3 is NOT compatible with 1.5. This is because it's not be able to apply the source patch on the index.php file.
CB1.0.2 is compatible with JSMF 2.0 RC3 (i'm running it a few weeks now together smoothly), CB1.0.2 is also fully compatible with 1.5 (if you have the latstest lmanguage plugin for it.

For 1.5, bestwait until the RC fase breaks trough, just an advice. Many things have changed again on the beta, the beta2 will contain modifications on the main sql so whoever that build a 1.5 site they'll have some problems :p

I have installed the hack (thanks for the work), but have some problems.

When i click on profil (under the avatar of the user) i get

"INSTALL com_smf ( SMF-Bridge: www.joomlahacks.com ) FIRST!"

okay i thought, lets do it. But how do i do that. I think i have to install the "cb_plugin_smf_2_0_1.zip" but dont know how.

Waht also dont work is the logout under the user name, nothing happens until i delete the cookie.

And when i click on memberlist it want direkt me to the CBE memberlist, it direkt me to the SMF memberlist (or is it not possible to get the CBE Memberlist)?

I know that this are a lot questions (and newbie questions too) but hope that you will help me.

Ok firstly, what do you mean by "hack"? What hack did you install? Also, when you said you clicked on profile, do you mean on the login module, or in the forums itself?

"cb_plugin_smf_2_0_1.zip" can only be installed if you have CB, not CBE (since CBE doesn't support plugins, AFAIK)

And lastly, yes, the memberlist in SMF does not direct to the CBE memberlist, although you can manually change the code of SMF's template files to do that.

Oh sorry, seems that my words wore not chosen wisely Wink
First, i dont get the error message any more, have reinstalled the CB.

For the memberlist i have chosen an other way, direct to the CBE memberlist. But why does is it not save my avatar (cant see the avatar over the UserLogin, but in the memberlist) and the avatar is also not in the forum (Before reinstall that worked) any tips?

So are you using CB or CBE? They are 2 separate software altogether, although much of their functions are the same.

Syncing of avatar requires cb_plugin_smf_2_0_1 installed via CB's (not CBE) plugin manager.
