Joomla-SMF RC1 a lot of problems
« on: October 05, 2006, 11:23:02 AM »

Hello all!
I finally found a little time to instal Joomla-SMF 2 RC1 and see what it can do.
My site is still running Joomla 1.0.10
SMF 1.1 RC3
and I use community builder 1.1

I installed the bridge with out any problems. I got a messege: SUCCESS.

But my site is reacting strange. In administration I'm logged out often (it looks unnormal). When I log in to the site I get a message - invalid user name, when I press OK, then I see, tha I'm logged in.
When I go to the forum - there I'm not logged in.

I don't understand what is wrong.
I have installed SMF CB Plugin, but nothing is helping.

Something more, that I forgot to say.

When I try to synchronize the users I get this error message:
Quote
_JSMF_MSG_SMF_JOOMLA_SYNC_CHECK_ERR: db_error:Illegal mix of collations (utf8_unicode_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,IMPLICIT) for operation \\\'=\\\' SQL=SELECT count(*) FROM smf_members
