JSMF causing PHP error

Could someone give me some ideas on how to resolve the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 14592 bytes) in /home/sforge/public_html/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/comprofiler.class.php on line 2158

I run:

Joomla 1.0.10
JSMF 2.0 RC 1
CB 1.01
Apache 2.2.2
PHP 5.1.4
Fedora Core 5

Removing JSMF resolves the error, but not the issue. I would like to use JSMF!

you need to realize you are loading two separate pieces of software. 8MB is not enough, bump up your allowed memory usage to at least 16MB in your php.ini.

Any day I can learn something new is a good day. I learned something today! That did the trick, so thank you for your help!
