My problem is that everything seems to work fine except login. I have community builder installed with the plugin, no problems.
If i log in on the homepage it's not recognised by SMF when I click on the forum link using the community builder login. If i use the Joomla SMF login it returns
You are not authorized to view this resource. You need to login.
If I use the unwrapped version, I have no problems logging in.
Another thing, when I go in to Bridge Configuration, some of the options don't seem to work (eg use SMF as the login or for registration)
selecting use smf as the login just searches for configuration that might have been set for that login. This is used more for configurations used in cb login and jsmf login.
selecting smf as the registration just redirects the registration links in the jsmf login module and in the forum to smf registration.
clear your cookies for the site, close your browser, reopen and try again. Make sure cb plugin is published.

don't set the link to registered. Otherwise you cannot login because joomla will capture the smf login url and give you this error message. Instead, disable guest access on the forums and allow SMF to present the guests with the error message.
Exactly the same problem hate I also. But I have there a larger problem. After i installed the JSMF 2.0, i become a problem with Joomla. The letters Š, Đ, Č, Ć, Ž are incorrectly indicated? Is that an UTF-8 issue??
Please help my. My site looks wery ugly at the moment... thanks

Deksonyu, I believe your problems are UTF-8 related. From what I understand, this is not a trivial issue. There are several factors that can affect UTF-8 compliance, such as your actual database (for example, did you make sure it handled UTF-8 when it was created?), the version of PHP you're using, and other related issues.
I don't recall the threads offhand, but I remember seeing this discussion in the official Joomla forums. Go there and do a search on UTF-8 and see what you get. To be brief, people are still searching for the "right" solution to hold them until Joomla 1.5 is released. But, there are some workarounds and fixes that may work, and you can find those there.

I got the exactly the SAME PROBLEM when I upgraded my website from Joomla 1.0.5 to 1.0.11.... after reading the Joomla! forums I found out that more Joomla! users got the same problem with 1.0.11... nobody knows exactly what the problem is and there is even a complete guide about it with several options... for me was the solution very easy... installing the latest stable version without this problem... 1.0.10.... that version is now HAPPY working with SMF
