beta 2 login semi-error

Everything works perfectly except for one thing: sometimes (and when I say sometimes, i mean it seems to be completely random, tested in IE and FireFox) after I click the login button, it prompts "Please complete the username and password fields."  After I click "ok", its logs me into Mambo, but not SMF.  Other times it works perfectly.

I forgot to mention...when I go into the Component Configuration, I get these errors across the right side of the screen:
Warning: fopen(news/mh_announcement.rdf): failed to open stream: Connection refused in /home/fantasym/public_html/administrator/components/com_smf/rdf.php on line 36

Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/fantasym/public_html/administrator/components/com_smf/rdf.php on line 37

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/fantasym/public_html/administrator/components/com_smf/rdf.php on line 38

Warning: fread(): Length parameter must be greater than 0. in /home/fantasym/public_html/administrator/components/com_smf/rdf.php on line 66

what is your php_info / platform?

About you 2nd post, that is non-critical. I don't know why that happen to some servers and I haven't really gone through solving it.

Ok, I will look into it, but this kind of issue is hard to solve if can't reproduce the error. All servers are just not the same. And my only resource for testing is SquareSite.com (linux) and my XP local dev.

I'm not sure if this will give you any help, but if you want to, go to www.fantasymarchingband.com and log in with the username Testing and password Peepee

Like I said sometimes it works fine, and others it does this other stuff, with my luck when you try it will be fine.
