Failed: Code to be patched not found in file: if (!defined(\'WIRELESS\'))/home/content/x/g/c/xgcknight/html/smf/index.php

THIS IS THE ERROR I AM GETTING WHEN I PATCH SMF Source Files
Shouting gets you nowhere.  Why on earth would you post this when there is the same problem not two posts ahead of this!?  And it has been reported multiple times in other topics.  Have you searched, read the user guide?  I've got lots of money riding on the fact that you have not installed SMF 1.1RC2 or RC3.  Whats more, that is the answer posted in multiple threads.  Thank you for wasting my time by making your post.   Angry Angry

Thanks Wolverine!  I installed your bridge and everything went pretty smooth considering I'm new to all this.

Can anyone point me to some instruction for intergrating SMF/SMF bridge with CB?  Right now I can't seem to get it working.  http://divevets.com/testsite

Is CB the way to go if I want to add features like Gallery later on?

Hi Wolverine, hope ya didnt forget about me =)
Still having this problem. Its the only thing holding me back from making the site live.

both of those errors occurred after clicking sync usernames?

I dont know if they happend at the exact same time.. thats just what was in the log when I opened it. I did however try and delete the file to try and get a fresh log, but the log didnt recreate itself.

update: i tried it again tonight and only got one for todays date:
[09-Oct-2006 20:56:08] PHP Fatal error:  Undefined class name 'jsmffrontend' in /home/kcsadmin/public_html/modules/mod_smf_login.php on line 100

I made some improvements to the avatar sync when the avatar is a url in SMF.  I found a couple bugs so I think this should resolve most of the problems users reported.  In addition, I am rewriting Brat's SMF profile plugin for CB and will address the same changes in the avatar sync in the plugin.

first, get the user guide and follow it.  Second, it will tell you to extract the file.

com_smf_2_0 is the correct file.  Does your server have zip enabled?

PHP Fatal error:  Cannot redeclare template_init() (previously declared in /home/kcsadmin/public_html/forums/Sources/Load.php(1702) : eval()'d code:32) in /home/kcsadmin/public_html/forums/Sources/Load.php(1702) : eval()'d code on line 30

I got the same error when setting different themes for different boards. It seems to be due to the bridge, as it works fine, when calling the forum directly. There is no difference if I use a theme supplied with SMF or if I use a theme I adjusted myself.

Im using
Joomla 1.0.11
SMF 1.1 RC3
Joomla-SMF-Bridge 2.0 RC1

It appears to me, that this error has been reported before, but has been either not solved or neglected (http://www.joomlahacks.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,94/topic,84.0).

When a new user creates a account on my site, their forum names are their real names and not their usernames. I tried changing the option in the bridge to sync by usernames but it does not work. Any idea's?
