I installed the new version and it works really great!

What I like:
-No error messages or bugs Grin Great work!
-more configuration possibilities
-sync works good

What I don't like (small things..):
-In the 1.1.4.2 version the regsiter and the lost pw link used the template style now it changed to simple links.
This on the JSMF login?
-when I ckick on upload avatar it redirects me to cb profile-ok. I upload a file and I can see it in the cb profile but not in the login module.
JSMF Login?  Do you see it in the forum?
-I don't really what to do with the smf.plugin file...
Joomap plugin, instructions are coming for that
-there is still no possibilty to open the Forum link in a new window (unwrapped)
You ask too much!  Grin  You want the main menu link to open in a new window unwrapped?

Yeah I use JSMF Login and I don't see the avatar in smf. But you can try it on your own, your account still exists. www.corfu.at Wink
Ok thanks for the smf.plugin info (I tried to install it in both smf and cb Tongue)

I have come a crossed a few odd.. bugs I guess.
First one isn't a biggy, but a little annoying. After installing the bridge some text is larger. Please see the images provided. It might just be something in the CSS file, as you will notice that my link color also changes after installing the bridge. I would just like to know what to do about the enlarged text.

before the install:

after:

The SMF css must be included before the Joomla or vice versa and it was the other way with the old version.  The real problem is that you have the same definition in both files, and you need to merge them in order to get the same appearance.
The second and most important issue is that when I go to synchronize my users, it gives me a "The page cannot be displayed." error. It looks as if some members synced up, but not all of them.

Joomla 1.0.11
SMF 1.1 RC3
JSMF 2.0 RC1

turn joomla error reporting to maximum and check your php error_log to see if an error is being reported.  How many users do you have?

This is what was in my error log after I set it to max:

PHP Fatal error:  Undefined class name 'jsmffrontend' in /home/kcsadmin/public_html/modules/mod_smf_login.php on line 100
PHP Fatal error:  Cannot redeclare template_init() (previously declared in /home/kcsadmin/public_html/forums/Sources/Load.php(1702) : eval()'d code:32) in /home/kcsadmin/public_html/forums/Sources/Load.php(1702) : eval()'d code on line 30

it could be a definition that SMF is making that is causing this.  The section in the joomla index that defines the headers does not get called when SMF has already sent the headers.  Do you know if you charset is the same for both SMF and Joomla?

Thanks for the asnwer, is very diffcult tho change charset once all is intalled, I tried but don't change anything, the problem was solved reinstalling SMF forum and Uncheck UTF-8 box during the process, and now, almost everything appear to be ok.

both of those errors occurred after clicking sync usernames?

I dont know if they happend at the exact same time.. thats just what was in the log when I opened it. I did however try and delete the file to try and get a fresh log, but the log didnt recreate itself.

update: i tried it again tonight and only got one for todays date:
[09-Oct-2006 20:56:08] PHP Fatal error:  Undefined class name 'jsmffrontend' in /home/kcsadmin/public_html/modules/mod_smf_login.php on line 100

I got some problems when I have used SMF for registration. I made some quickly not really professional fixes but they work for me.

Issue #1:
Quote
After click on the "registration" button in the SMF registration, I got a Joomla Error "You are not authorized to view this resource.
You need to login."

In the Browser Adressline the following will be shown: http://www.test.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=76&

I have changed:

smf.class.php -> function integrateExit($param)
Code:
header('Location: '.$jsmfConfig->url);

into

Code:
header('Location: '.sefRelToAbs(str_replace('&', '&', $jsmfConfig->url)));

Issue #2
Quote
When I have used for example, a already used nickname to register, I got the following:

I have changed:

smf.php on line 120

Code:
$buffer = mosGetParam($_SESSION, 'MH_WARNING', NULL, _MOS_ALLOWHTML);

into

Code:
$buffer = str_replace('\\', '', mosGetParam($_SESSION, 'MH_WARNING', NULL, _MOS_ALLOWHTML));
