Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated - argument passed by value; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of [runtime function name](). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file. However, future versions may not support this any longer. in

I've tried to read thru the posts but I dont' seem to find the listed fix? Please help or point me to the correct thread if there is really a fix. Thank you in advance.

Did everyone know this problem?...

When "SEF disabled" the login works fine in frontend modules and in the forum.

SEF enabled: Only the login direcly in the forum works.
The login with all moduls: CB/Joomla-SMF/Joomla dont work.

The error is a wrong login link:
option,com_smf/Itemid,134/option,com_smf/Itemid,134/action,login2/hash_passwrd,0........

I hope anyone can help me.

I believe I solved all of those call-time pass-by-references with 2.0RC1 which is now available in the remository.

try JSMF 2.0RC1, I reworked the login so it didn't change for SEF, which appeared to cause the problem you had.  Please let me know if it doesn't.

Think I found a bug:

with the bridge using all the default settings if a user creates an account through the forum instead of joomla's frontpage login and then tries to log in  just through the forum it give an account doesnt exist error. But if you use the same login details on joomla's front page it works fine. After you log in atleast once on the front page you can log in and out of the forum after that. I guess its a synchronization bug?

registration should synchronize from SMF.  I tested this pretty thoroughly.  Try this is JSM 2.0RC1 and let me know if it still fails for you.
