In Module administrator of JSMF Login Module : Menu Style : * Customized * Vertical * Horizontal * Flat List
Choose "Customized" if you want to use the horizontal layout of the login form.
I also add : Registration Text to change the default text ("No account yet? Register") for unregister user in the login form.
Sometimes, the module will look weird in some template. You must change the CSS file of the template to make it displayed well.
This is a modification of the JSMF Login Module by Kevin8020 and Wolverine. And, This version only works with SMF 1.1 RC2 or higher and the JSMF(Joomla-SMF) Bridge version 2.0 from JoomlaHacks.com!

FEATURE SUGGEST: What about to have the option to chose between real name or username!! thank's for this contribution

I am happy that it works with you. Actually I dont change anything in horizontal module, even more in my place I tested, I dont find anything wrong with the alignment. I think it's the compability layout problem with your joomla template with the horizontal menu style.
I think the module will display Username not the real name.
I just guess, may be when you installed the JSMF Component and synchronized the users, you clicked "sync realnames" instead of "sync usernames"
To make the module dislpay username, when you synchronize the user, you must click sync usernames to synchronize usernames to SMF. That's all.
With the cb login the links such as profile, messages, etc...are menu items, which i can easily translate with Joomfish for having them bilingual depending on site language chosen.
In this login module is there not a way to have those links bi-lingual? they are not menu items

Thanks, NiCo
we are shooting for JoomFish compat with JSMF 2.1. Not in 2.0 though, sorry.
Hey guys have started using this login module and all is good except for one little problem. When you login in it redirects to the forums and not the main page. Is this the way it is or do I have something configured incorrectly?
these changes were rolled into JSMF Login 2.0.3 and in addition I added some redirect helpers. So update to 2.0.3 and please let me know if you continue to have issues.
its not a st$p$d question, Ive had some troubles and delays trying to get everything updated in the remository. It is my fault you didn't find it there.
Thats alright I was looking for the individual module and didn't even think to download the full update file as I just used the patch last update. All working now thanks for the help guys.
