No username when replying to a PM

Joomla! 1.0.11
SMF 1.1 RC2
Joomla-SMF Integration version is 1.1.4.2
Using Custom Theme

I am not sure where to look to resolve.
I could not find other post about this either.

Can anyone suggest what might be causing this?

Your best bet is to just upgrade the bridge to the new 2.0 beta:
