I had the character set problem too but seemed to sync ok after changing them in phpmyadmin
Still can't get the bridge to work tho If using the CB log in it logs in to Joomla ok but when then clicking on the forum link firefox gives up & gives this error:

I am new to this bridge and i could install the jsmf 2.0 successfully. under configuration, here are some of the setting Registration system: Joomla/Mambo Login module: Joomla/Mambo
When i am in SMF, how i can redirect user to joomla register page / login page when they click "Register" and "Login" respectively. Is it possible?

yes, modification is needed to get his plugin to work with this bridge and I am aware of it. Mainly, if you notice this component is now com_jsmf and Brat uses com_smf. This is high on the list of TO-DO's after the bridge is final.

If you are accessing the forum through the Joomla url it will automatically redirect users to the correct registration based on the selection of Registration System in the bridge configuration.

The download is back up. I included a fix for the undefined errors that were reporting in the SMF error log. I also fixed a sef mode bug. The bridge is refactored from jsmf back to smf so that urls are the same as 1.X versions and no search engine related issues are encountered.
I get this when trying to sync users.. Joomla/Mambo[0] / SMF[0] inserted Failed :
I also get the line 61 error sometimes as mentioned before. And when I login, and then click on a forums link and then back to homepage, the login module shows I am logged out, but all aspects of the site show that I am still logged in, except in the forums.

Installed your latest jsmf v2.0 and working just fine. Them later on I installed your jsmf discussbot and by them I tried to configure the bot I got messages "resticted access". So I can not modify the the bot configuration just yet. Is there something that I should do?
