i've just been having a rather lengthy bug hunting session with wolverine, and it appears, firefox just won't do the redirecting business properly unless there's explicit redirecting urls for login/-out set in jsmf login config.

i really have noe idea why.

It should, and I after repeated tests I didn't encounter this problem in my testing, however I wasn't necessarily using multiple users, which may be the key.  Let me attempt to replicate.

any updates on this issue because I can only log out of SMF if I use the logout button inside SMF.  Logging out justing the CB logout button only logs me out of joomla not SMF.

Just want to say that this new release has been working great for me. Nice to have working Jump-to redirects!  Cheesy

Joomla! 1.0.10
J-SMF 1.1.4
SMF 1.1 RC2

Spent the usual time messing about with jos_menu and ItemID.  Had a weird issue with Adsense mambot displaying ads everywhere but I've solved that by turning off the mambot Smiley

Start from JSMF 1.1.3 the bridge did not work for my site.
I am using the CB Login, user login on frontpage did not login SMF automatically. JSMF 1.1.2 work but 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 didn't.
However, if user logout from SMF, JSMF can logout the user from both SMF and J!.

JSMF config:
Integration Mode: Wrapped
Synchronization Type: Realname
Hide emails in SMF profile on sync: Yes
Redirect SMF profile link to CB/CBE: No
Always redirect to forum on login: No
Always redirect to joomla main on logout: Yes
Registration module to use: CB
Login module to use: CB

My config:
J! v1.0.8 UTF-8 Traditional Chinese
SMF v1.1 RC2
JSMF v1.1.4
CB version: 1.0 Stable
Login Module: CB

My URL:

I have a small problem, that I can't seem to figure out.

I just installed the Joomla/SMF 1.1.4 component, and the mod_SMF_login 1.4.2 and now, with you go to my site, it shows the forum on the front page.    It's like the forums have taken over my index.php page.

I can't get to the other content of my site.    Can anyone point me to the direction of what went wrong and how to fix this?    Prior to installing the new component and mod from this site I was running the older Joomla/SMF component and mod from this site without a problem.

I am running

Joomla 1.0.10
SMF 1.1 RC2
I do not run CB

Nevermind...   I found the answer was the forums were listed as the first item on my main menu.   I moved them, and it fixed the problem.

Thanks for any help.

Jamie

it should work with any version of J! 1.0.x.  And further, J! 1.0.10 does not include a new index.php so it will still fail.  Something is obviously wrong with his index.php, either the file type was changed during upload or the file is not the original J! version.

Right, Problem solved now, replace index.php with index.php from original joomla path 1.0.8-1.0.9 Smiley thank.

Hi Wolverine,
Yes, It's me, here I am again.
Congratulations for your new jsmf version!!!I tried it today and everthing works perfekt!(Now I use also joomla 1.0.1.0)
I'm also using your new login module (works also perfectly well) and your who's online module wich works 95% perfekt (displays an error if I want to display the number of guests:Aktuell $user_array Mitglied online). But I'm sure this is nothing difficult to fix right?

But I want to give you one suggestion (or take it as a wish from me):
Add the possibility to open the links displayed from the module in a new window for those who don't use smf wrapped. Now it's a bit tricky t navigate on my site (go back to main and so on...)

But I must say, I love it....

PS:Sorry for beeing so much time away but I had so much to do for the university...

open in new window functionality for the recent topics?

Also, translate the error you are getting from the who's online.  I didn't encounter any in my testing so I am curious what the problem is.

Good to see you around.

Ok,
Aktuell $user_array Mitglied = actuall $user_array Member

and I would like to open the links supported by the module (eg. recent posts, profile,...) in a new window with browser navigation. At least I would like to have the possibility to do it(make option self_ or parent_)...
