Same here, I was wanting to put ad's in html format but the banner option in the joomla acp isnt what Im needing.

Silly me.  For some reason I thought it was done thru Joomla.  Thanks for the reply and info on where to correctly search for this.

If the question is regarding how to incorporate ads in the template, that's almost as easy:

http://mods.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=255

Install the mod on your SMF, and follow the readme (I just assumed there is one that will lead you through it). If there isn't a readme, then 1) the mod developers were st$p$d and 2) Post back here if you need help, and I'll run it on my test forum.
