Joomla-SMF SEO Friendly?

I wonder if Joomla-SMF is SEO Friendly? or need to enable native SEF Joomla or install OpenSEF component?

lately i've been interested learning SEO techniques. any help would be great!

i use OpenSEF and so far it works fine. im still waiting google to crawl my site. i wonder how would my site Isulong SEOPH will rank on Google SERPs. can someone give me backlinks?
