| I had to install Joomla into a sub-directory of my root due to the fact that I was running a PHP-Nuke site prior to the install and I needed to maintain the database since it had over 400 reviews in it. But my problem now is this. When I try to use the SEO option in Joomla as soon as I change the htaccess.txt file to .htaccess my I can no longer access my web site. I think it has something to do with the fact that Joomla is not installed in the root directory and the mod re-write is attempting to do it to files that aren't there. Then on the other hand I could be completely nuts to. I am hoping someone can lend me a hand on figuring out a way to fix the .htaccess file without having to do a complete install in the root of my site. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Langhi |
