I've patched Joomla to version 1.0.10 cause of lot of security issues and hacked site... when I try to patch the index.php the component says that it can't find the text to patch... Is there a tutor on how to patch manually???

I have just upgraded Joomla! to 1.0.10 and the problem(s) I was having have gone.

I've already noticed that someone has upgraded Joomla! and the activation of J!-SMF was broken.

The reason that I mention it is that for me it did work, so for others with this problem it can only be worth a try?
