Not sure if this is the redirect issue you are talkinga bout, but the Jump to forum redirect button not working. The GO button does not respond.

I assume this is IIS?  This is a problem where a call to include(which never fatal errors) is fatal erroring.

Thank for your reply..
Sorry for this question, What should I do? Huh

Yeah I was wondering that also.  I am wondering if I should revert back to 1.1.2 until this is resolved.  I have to launch my joomla/forum portion of my website this week.

I have a persistent problem with the install of the bridge. I have tried all of the "fixes" that I have found around the forums but none of them have completely worked.

My set-up

- Joomla 1.09 (upgrade from 1.08)
- SMF 1.1 RC2

- Bridge versions 1.1.3 (and I get the same problem with 1.1.2)

Problem:

(- orginally I had the problem of "unable to find code" when trying to patch Joomla's index.php but I have somehow resolved that problem)

- I can patch Joomla index.php and SMF index.php but when I reload my site's index page it is broken; a blank page.

- if I un-patch the pages then the site index.php is again visible.

I really would like to solve this problem (no kidding!!  Wink )

Any help would be gratefully aprpeciated.

Ta.

This version won't work for me either.  Installs ok, go to configuration and the admin panel just hangs.  Takes ages to uninstall it too (can't use anything in the admin panel whilst its installed)

  * Joomla/Mambo Version: J 1.0.9
  * SMF Version: 1.1 rc2
  * Joomla-SMF Forum Integration Version: 1.1.3

I did all right. Upgraded from 1.08 to 1.09 with oficial upgrade files, than uninstalled joomla_smf 1.1.2, modules of latest posts and login, and now tryin to install 1.1.3 - it writes

ERROR: Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.
But there is smf.xml file..?

I just don't get it! Tryed 2 upload to com_installer directory - the same result.

Please help!

Joomla 1.09
SMF 1.1 RC2
And the latest bridge, attached 2 first post.  Embarrassed

first build to address the problems is being tested.  Sorry for the issues, they just didn't come up in testing which means there are quite a few holes.  I hope I can at least release some sort of beta to address these problems by early next week.  Unfortunately I am out of town on business this week and it has been/will be hard to find time to work on this for the remainder of the week/weekend.  ETA?  Soon as possible guys.
