Troubles with "No GD Support detected"...

Ok, yes, I'm new here and to PHP/Apache/Mysql! I'm using the JSAS distro and it's awesome for simple folk like myself. However, whenever I try to install any Photo Gallery I get the "No GD support detected" error. I've downloaded all sorts of c code and tried compiling, installing the dll, unremarking the php_gd2.dll extension line in the php.ini file, etc......... no luck! Is there a such thing as a module or compnonet that does this for you?!? How about an "installer" that you just dbl-clk and VOILA! it's done?!?

Any info on this would be great! Thanks,

you can try xampp, I think it comes with gd prepackaged.

Usually, this stuffs installs and works quickly in linux systems. But for windows/iis... it's a pain.
