I know I have asked this in the past and received overwhelming support from you all but this time around things are going to be different. In a good way!
Cowboy, who is still helping behind the scenes, has setup a QA/Testing forum for us to use. What I am looking for are people who are willing to test the new versions of the bridge at regular intervals. This doesn't have to be a huge time commitment, just once every week, or two weeks, sit down and test the latest version for an hour or two. I need people who are willing to break the bridge and want to break the bridge. Thats the only way to make this better.
If you think you can help me out and have access to a webserver, either locally or online, please simply post here. Understand I am looking for those of you with experience using joomla/mambo and who can test a wide variety of modules and the component on their own. In addition, I need those of you who can post problems in a clear, concise message.

Hi there.. I'm not a long time joomla user but a big fan of SMF and right now betting the future of my community site on joomla+SMF+CB. Of course I want things to get better!
I'm in! I got 2 remote apache webserver + offline JSAS on my machine.
Just got hold of a huge private server. Already have a couple of Joomla's in development as well as a test Joomla thats being used to test templates atm, can be modified to use the bridge tests.
I've got 2 accounts on 2 seperated shared servers - and one here at home running Appache on Linux. And I luvvvv to break things
BTW, in my frustrations with permissions issues over the past week I wrote (somewhere here in this pile of papers) a detailed step-by-step sequence of just how I converted a phpNuke/phpBBS with imbedded Gallery2 (on a shared server without root access) into Joomla/SMF/G2 on the same server using the tools found here - and have no permissions issues anymore. I finally have all my old phpNuke news articles and stories, phpBB2 forum posts, private messages, gallery photos, weblinks, downloads, and users all bridged and in synch using Joomla! - and am one happy camper! I'll post that within the next day or 2.
i have several hosting remotely and i have own linux box at home. one way i can help as i prefer Joomla-SMF
is there like mailinglist so if theres a new version to be tested my mail g0t bump? im also part Joomla Workgroup ... i hope it something well organize so my sched doesnt be that messy. hehe. cheers everyone!
