fixed: javascript error

Hi im trying to install the SMF forums RC2 component on my Joomla 1.8 cms
I have installed SMF on the same host and merged the database files into the Joolma database.

The installation is a success, but when going to configure it I click on save and get an error on page in the bottom left corner of the screen.

This is the error.

Char: 2
Error: 'document.adminForm.task' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: http://tvaclan.net/aits/administrator/index2.php?option=com_smf

I have tried other versions of the SMF forums but still the same error when trying to save.
 
noticed an error on the config page too..

Notice: Undefined index: task in /home/tvacnnet/public_html/aits/administrator/components/com_smf/admin.smf.php on line 249

trying a search but cant find the problem im having.


Please does anyone have any ideas what may be the problem?

Hello there,
We cannot blame the programmer of SMF but not even the users that trust to use this program, did the programmer of SMF did not check the this error before putting online? Manu users are still awaiting to solve or even somebody response to this problem..thanks pal! Cool

I found this error and fixed it in JSMF 1.1.4.2 available here
