| Ok people, I cannot, absolutely cannot, attempt to solve a problem when the description of the problem is vague and unclear. This is not your first time on the internet and we all know that clarity can be challenging online, so if you want help you need to be as clear as humanly possible. Read and re-read your post before submitting. Is it clear? Make sure to post ALL applicable version. When in doubt post them all. I am sorry to say but I won't ever be able to continue development if I spend all my time guessing on half-assed posts. Unfortunately this means requiring everyone to at least post the following information if you want help. Version Information:
Configuration description: It is also very helpful if you post any configurations that are applicable, for example:
Problem description: When detailing the problem please specify the action clearly. Was it during install? During configuration? Were you registering? Have you checked the known problems and solutions and were they any help? Did you read the README_FIRST files and verify that you set everything up correctly? Also, when applicable, verify that your problem is not a problem with SMF by directly accessing the forums. Module help: When requesting help for a module you need to additionally post it's version. Help me to help you. Consider yourselves forewarned... if your post isn't clear and you haven't received a response you know why. There are many people here who are willing to help, but only if you respect us and our time by taking the time to post a clear, concise, request for help. |
