Is there integration for smf 1.06?
« on: March 08, 2006, 11:52:38 PM »

I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place.  My host only provides a one click install for smf 1.06.  I have tried to upgrade and install smf to 1.1rc however I can't get it to work because I don't know what I am doing.

I am running joomla 1.08 and I want an integrated smf board - are there any other bridges out there that will work fairly easily with smf 1.06?

Any advice or info would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I think all SMF bridges have moved to SMF 1.1RCx.    Undecided

The SMF 1.1 version - everyone is moving to now is i prep for the 1.1 Joomla version right?  Seems it is going to be coming out next month I think if I am correct.

OH man I want to use this forum so badly, but can't because no way to make the login's work right.  Darn I hate that.  Is there an earlier version of SMF that would work with an earlier version of the bridge??? Then 1.1 comes out I upgrade??? any idea's  where I can find this at???

Thanks, Allen

No, Joomla 1.1 is separate than this.  SMF is also on a track for 1.1 and they have released 1.1RC2.  And separately we have been working on our bridge, Joomla-SMF, where we just released 1.1RC2.  To run our bridge, version 1.1RC2, you need SMF 1.1RC2 and Joomla 1.0.x.  If you want to run SMF 1.0.x you need veraion 1.0.2a of our Joomla-SMF bridge.  Confused?  Wink
