check the known problems of the bridge. This is an issue with the way SMF handles params and there is no way to solve it at this point. We have reduced the problem to one failed and the second successful but that is the best we can do. I don't know about the error message, it should simply say user not found. Might be somethign wrong with your SMF 1.1RC2 install.
Hi! I've got today the same problem, but when clicking on a single board of the forum. my SMF forum 1.1RC2 on joomla 1.0.8 (bridge 1.1 RC2 patch1) today I've found the following errors:in report.php a query fails because $earliest_msg is empty and $_SESSION[ID_MSG_LAST_VISIT] is empty too! The forum was up and running without problem from two months, so I think it could be a database problem, some information missing? Have I to reinstall the smf? Or only the bridge?

How do you install SMF 1.1RC2 Patch. There is an instruction how to correctly install this patch whith bridge 1.1.01 http://www.joomlahacks.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,94/topic,1496.0. But I install patch from SMF admin and no problems have inspected. Are you loginin from SMF or Joomla's Login?
