Joomla-SMF Recent Topics 1.7

I have completed the next version of the Joomla-SMF Recent Topics module. 1.7 is now available and will be put into the remository once Cowboy has a chance. In the mean time registered users can download from this thread. Changes include:

* 1.7
o Full SEF compatability
o Fixed new image not showing bug
o Added ability to show/hide topic icon
o Added ability to show/hide the number of replies to the topic
o Added ability to show/hide the latest poster to the topic

NOTE: This version only works with SMF 1.1 RC2 or higher!

Let me know if you run into any problems with it. Enjoy!

Awesome! Just downloaded it and installed it. Everything seems to work fine, and the little "new" icons are back! Cheesy

would it be possible to add the (user configurable) last responses to the topic?

Not just the name of the last poster, but a portion of the message posted?
With that, the recent topics would seem more ALIVE as the topic never changes, but the message responses do.
It is possible to get the text of the very last message (m.body) but not of the last two..

I guess you would have to do a SELECT as you build the List to pull the last two responses?...hmmm....
I may just do that.

(though I'm not a fan of the scrolling and the blank space hanging as it finishes the list Sad
