Cry for HELP!

I'm new and completely perplexed by a lot of the information here.

I have installed:

Joomla 1.08
Joomla-SMF Integration version is 1.1beta
SMF 1.0.6.

If I synchronize Joomla and SMF users, then accounts from one program will appear in the other. But I will have to authorize them separately.

There is also a very big problem with the following error message when sending mail from SMF:

Quote

2: sendmail(/administrator/components/com_smf/config.smf.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory
File: /home/playbo4/public_html/lounge/Sources/Subs-Post.php
Line: 338

This means that the registration authorization process in SMF is broken.

Can someone please help with some detailled advice?

I'm new at this and completely bewildered, so I would be very grateful for any help you can give!

first thing, Joomla-SMF 1.1beta is for SMF 1.1RC2 or higher, hence the failing of your SMF registrations/authorizations. Second, you should get the latest version of Joomla-SMF 1.1 if you want to use it, which is Joomla-SMF 1.1RC1. Joomla-SMF 1.1RC2 is due for release this weekend. But all in all, the main problem is that you are not running SMF 1.1RC2.
