by removing the folder in which you copied smf files into, and removing all smf tables

Hi,

I think there is a fundamental misunderstanding going on here. We newbies are all thinking that your component is a free-standing forum. What you gurus haven't communicated is that the component is just a bridge to the SMF forum, which apparently needs to be downloaded from www.simplemachines.org and installed separately into it's own freaking folder...

Hope this ends the hair pulling...
