Joomla-SMF 1.1RC1 Bridge (as the previous ones) conflicts with Gallery2 Bridge.
The issue is old and occurs because Joomla-SMF messes with $_POST and $_GET values as told by Gallery2 Bridge creator
There was a fix but it doesn't suite for Joomla 1.0.5
Please can you try to fix it? I'm not satisfied with Orstio bridge and really want to use Cowboys' one. I'm waiting for this fix since a lot of weeks

Bummer, I just got all the configuration complete..Mambo/CB/Gallery2/SMF.
Authentication was working good and everything.
Went back to check the funtionality one more time and viola... No control over the gallery anymore. I really dig a both bridges. I left a message on Michiel's forum asking for him to hopefully share some info with wolverine.
If I get this working Ill be pretty solid.
If you need another broken site to gather test data.. Ill volunteer. I would hate to use Michiel's first suggestion to use another bridge.
Your hardwork and effort is appreciated.

Me too! I'm using Orstio bridge right now because G2 integration is critical for me. It's a good bridge and works well but i prefer Cowboys one because it's compatible with Joomla login module while supporting the ROCKING Wolverine login module. |

Now that Joomla 1.0.8 is out the need of having SMF Bridge compatible with Gallery2 Bridge is more important. Ifact Orstio's bridge is incompatible with Joomla 1.0.8 and they're trying to fox it. Sure i can wait but this is a proof to me that Cowboys bridge has a smoother integration with Joomla so i prefer it. I saw that Michiel hasn't reply to Wolverine post yet  Is it impossible to have SFM ridge working without Michiel help? Thx, cya |

The problem is I don't know what the problem is.  He mentioned post variables but I am not sure what could be wrong. Hopefully he will post some info. |

I saw a post on http://opensource.4theweb.nl/ for gallery 2 plugin, asking wolverine to email him... Hopefully a fix can be crafted by these 2 guys. These are both great components and the other bridge options are uglier than I like. Thank you.. for keeping this issue moving forward. Hyle |
