smf 1.1rc2 and joomla-smf 1.1 beta login issue

Hello,
I am having login issue when I installed smf1.1 rc2 with joomla-smf forum 1.1 beta.

I have gone through installation docs and done accordingly. (I haven't installed community buider yet.)I did following steps:

1)Installed joomla(http://www.xyz.com/)
2)Installed smf(http://www.xyz.com/smf)
3)Added the component from joomla ,applied patches without errors.

The forum comes wrapped inside joomla. But when I enter admin username, password,inside the forum wrapped inside joomla it doesn't allow.
However when I try to login at http://www.xyz.com/smf, I easily get logged in. Why is that I cannot login through joomla. Please let me know, if I need to install any other modules/components.

I got the same problem Wolverine says you should install RC1 found as an attachement in this thread http://www.joomlahacks.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,94/topic,1286.0

that should fix ur login issue, unless u got some SEF stuff going like I do.
