@mike:  I'm not talking about the bridge, I am talking about the module.  You must enter smf_ under the table prefix for the module.  You stated you saw smfmembers as the table it was querying.  Then that value was taken from the configuration screen of the module.

AHHHHHHH!!!! Finally I figuared out what you mean and what is the problem!
Look at the screenshot and you will know why many of us have that problem

turned out to be a mysql issue. i downgraded from mysql v5.whatever to 4.idontknow and all is fine. really odd.

not sure if SMF is happy with mysql v5 yet... maybe, I haven't kept up with that though.  Anyways, I modified the sql based on some more changes I saw in SMF 1.1RC2 so here is a tester.  I guess I will call this 1.6.3 barring any  problems.

smf itself was running quite well on mysql5. only gripe was i couldn't delete any topics :-)
