After upgrading from 1.0.2a everything seems to be perfect but cookies set for the SMF login seem to expire at session end. So every browser close/re-open, you need to relogin which totally ignores the "remain logged in forever" setting. Is this a known bug/undocumented feature? Grin
undocumented feature  Wink  I noticed this problem in my testing and thought I had mentioned it but if not I have now.  Working on it, minor inconvenience at this point.  Srry.
Also, on a slightly unrelated note, I've never been able to get menalto gallery 1.5.x to work with the bridge. The main component works fine but any gallery popups give me the dreaded "init.php: Gallery seems to be inside Mambo, but we couldn't get the necessary info.". Unfortunately queries on the gallery forum summed to no solution Sad
dunno, if I can find some time to finish up 1.1 let's talk about this issue.  Maybe something we can work out for ya.
P.S. Thanks for all the work you've done, it makes SMF with Joomla possible and non-annoying Kiss
No doubt, don't think I just dev this, I use it as well.  That is what brought me here and allowed me to help Cowboy with this bridge, he has done a great job and I try to help as I can.  Thanks for the support!   Grin

Hello,

I'm a little lost with all these releases of the SMF Bridge/CB plugin lol.

The opening post you made in this thread Wolverine, noting the bug with CB Login/Joomla login...Is this bug/issue still present?  I notice the edit date on that post is 5th march, so I am unsure if this has been fixed now?

Also, I understand that this plugin allows the integration of SMF with Joomla and sort of integrated usage with CB...But does it allow one to import data from SMF to the CB profile (like Post Count to appear on the profile...etc).  Is it a complete integration (basically is it integrated like Joomlaboard is?)

Apologies if this has already been answered but I am just a little confused look at Joomlapolis and then back at Joomlahacks.

Also, this thread:  http://www.joomlahacks.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,94/topic,1395.0

Is that the latest version of what this thread was orginally talking about?

Thanks!

T.

Hello,

I'm a little lost with all these releases of the SMF Bridge/CB plugin lol.
Sorry, I don't have control of the remository on this site so I can only offer threads and request Cowboy to make the updates when he has time.  We work with what we can.  Wink

The known issue of redirecting to joomla main on logout?  If so, then no, I am not sure it is fixable at this point but shouldn't be a major issue.
Also, I understand that this plugin allows the integration of SMF with Joomla and sort of integrated usage with CB...But does it allow one to import data from SMF to the CB profile (like Post Count to appear on the profile...etc).  Is it a complete integration (basically is it integrated like Joomlaboard is?)

well, the README would have helped you to determine that probably but no, it is not complete integration.  It is a way that users can use CB login to login to both joomla and SMF mainly.  Other features are being investigated but complete integration is not available.

yes, that is the latest bridge and plugin, and is the same version as the plugin in the separate thread.

Appreciate you taking the time to reply!

Didn't mean to make it sound critical, I appreciate what you have done with this.

Thanks!

I don't think I took it as being critical, sorry if my reply was short, just trying to make effective use of my time(hahahahaha)  Grin

I am continuing to work towards more integration with each release so hang in there.   Wink
