I have been looking for this.  Right now, Im' setting the settings within SMF.  But, I know I found this once before and I think it was set to Joomla login, but I could be very wrong.  Now, I can't find where to set that.   Could you tell me where to find that again?  I can't even find a good manual or anything for Joomla. 

While we're at it, what login should i use?  And, what is CB?

found it, I was looking there too.  It's actually set to "Mambo" which seems strange.  If I set it to something else, SMF for instance, will it solve this?  Also, where is the Mambo registration module?  It's not listed as a module.

And, I still don't know what CB is.

Still nothing.  I found the place to change the registration module, but it still isn't working.  I've changed it over to SMF, but still only have activation, not approval.  What gives?

you need to download the Joomla-SMF login module separately, however, the default joomla login should work.  Which form of registration are you wanting?
