Not able to login to SMF using CB 1.0 RC2 Login Module

as the title stated. The process works just fine when I use the generic joomla login Mod.

I've read most of the threads and not seen an obvious fix.

1. Platform
Apache version 1.3.33 (Unix)
2. PHP version
4.4.0
3. Joomla / Mambo version
Joomla 1.0.7 Stable
4. SMF version
SMF 1.1 RC2
5. Issue description
Using the Login module for CB 1.0 RC2 I am unable to login to the forums.
