Joomla Power Edition with joomlahacks SMF bridge

HI
Finally I managed to install SFM bridge for 1.1RC2 (manu thanks Wolverine for all you great work

) and to put it into JoomlaPE which is modification of standard Joomla installation which allows you to choose which add-ons to install with Joomla itself. Now you can install SMF with Joomla as well

. Joomla PE is exe file that works only under windows, and creates upload catalog with chosen add-ons ready to be uploaded to server. Installation process is almost the same as standard Joomla installation.

Thanks for posting the info, that looks very cool! I might just have to try it when installing future sites. I assume there is much more rapid deployment of a site using this?

Yes it is main aim of it:)
There is only one thing that is modufied after installation, that is administrator folder, as admin language is an separate file so it is easier to translate it. If you want to have exactly the same as you would have installing standart Joomla, just overwrite administraror folder and cofiguration.php file (as there is extra variable for admin panel)
All other add-ons are havnt been modiefied so the efecty after installing PE is the same as you would install them separetly.
