Hi,
I have looked everywhere for the docs on this, but i am in the module for SMF_recent_topics but i don't see anything on how to configure it. I am a newbie when it comes to joomla if anyone knows a post or a link could they place post it too me.! |

Not sure what you need docs for, couldn't be simpler;
Module class suffix: Not sure, I left it blank
SMF tables prefix: The Prefix used in your database. Usually smf_
Recent topic count: How many recent topics do you want to display, I used 10
Display board name: Self explanitory
Topic title length: How much of the topic title do you want to display
Display topic date and time: Self explanitory
Display real name: Display real name or user name
PHPNuke Marquee Scrolling ---------------------------------
Marquee scrolling: Do you want the topics to scroll
Scroll direction: Self explanitory
Scroll amount: Play with it then test the results, I have mine on 2
Scroll delay: Play with it then test the results, I have mine on 20

I didn't see the login on your front page. But the latest version of the module, afaik, should not just display the title. I built some error reporting into it so you should see something. What is the version you are using?

he topic sayz " Joomla-SMF Recent Topics " and should be listing the posts below it. Does this work if i am using or not using your bridge for SMF to Joomla? Also i think the version is 1.6.1
Joomla-SMF Recent Topics displays the new topics and number of posts based on your configuration.

That's not what I was looking for exactly. Are the Joomla tables and SMF tables in the same database, or in separate databases?
