I've already tried some general debugging and troubleshooting, but didn't get very far. I've also searched this forum for the problem, but couldn't quite find the answers to the problems I'm having.
I'm relatively new to Joomla and SMF, so it could be my unfamiliarity with the products that I'm having.
As far as I can tell, logging into Joomla will also login into the forums.
Problems:
The bridge behavior does not match the current configuration. Using the SMF Login Module in the mainmenu (default 'login form' module is unpublished), logging in will re-direct to the forum instead of wrapping. See below for configuration
Component Configuration: Integration Mode: Wrapped Hide emails in SMF profile on sync: Yes Always redirect to forum on login: No Registration module to use: Mambo (Checklist is good)
Comments, suggestions, and/or questions is greatly appreciated. Thanks
My problem is using SMF 1.1RC2, and possibly joomla 1.07. I think my confusion comes from all the different versions. What version is RECOMMENDED that I be using to be the most compatible? Also, where can I download them (I can only find the most recent versions, not the older)
OR..... If there's a patch coming soon... what configuration should I use for the Joomla-SMF component to make it work, even if I don't quite get the behavior I desire.
OR.... Is there a difference between a FRESH install of Joomla/SMF and the upgrade? Would I be better off starting with Joomla 1.0.5 and SMF 1.1RC1 and updating/patching to Joomla 1.0.7 and SMF 1.1RC2?

I did a quick test on another computer, just to make sure it isn't a problem on the server-end.
I also did a quick re-install with Joomla 1.07 and SMF 1.1RC1.. one of the problems I have is that the font sizes get all big and wonky when wrapping. Also, clicking on the logout button (in joomla) gives me errors (cache or session conflicts?)
