I just wanted to personally thank you for your time and effort in helping us. I am sure most of us realize that programing is not something that can be done in 5 minutes. Take your time and do it right.
ok, so the issue is that the table smf_log_topics in SMF 1.1RC1 has three fields, ID_TOPIC, ID_MEMBER, and logTime. In SMF 1.1RC2 they have changed this table to have ID_TOPIC, ID_MEMBER, and ID_MSG. So the SQL is not compatible. I will have to release a separate Recent Topics module for SMF 1.1RC2.
Ok, this is beta and is only to get an idea of how it works on the systems of those of you with problems. Try it, if it is working for you as it is for me I will make an official release. Again, this is BETA and may not work. Please be sure to update me on any issues.
Your the man. Just checked it out and everything works like a charm. One thing that I am also impressed with and that is the option to use realnames instead of usernames. I know that it was in the old one but just wanted to congratulate you on it's inclusion. I wish everyone would give that option and give atention to details. On many open public site I am sure user names are fine. But I feel that part of a community and getting to know one another is to know a persons real name. Now the only thing needed is to get the bridge fully functional.
Does this work with older versions of mambo? I upgraded to RC2 and had the above problems and I uploaded ur module and now nothing appears but the module title.
