This error message is only a warning.  I believe the following code with keep the error message from being produced, however, that won't fix any problems.

Code:
if ($wrapped != true && strcmp($_REQUEST['task'], "register") != 0) {
exit;
}

adding this line
Code:
if (!isset($_REQUEST['task'])) { $_REQUEST['task'] = ""; }
before your code does the trick. not sure about consequences but at least my logs dont show tons of "undefined index" anymore Wink

Are you sure about unwrapped mode? As in my case in unwrapped mode when I log on joomla side I'm transfered to smf. When I come back to joomla it seems that I'm logged in but when I look closely there are not icons for editing articlis on forntend, so in fact module tells me that I'm looged in butr in fact I'm not looged in intto joomla.

Ok, I realize this thread is getting a bit long since Stone's entry, but I wanted to verify that I am having exactly the same problem.

Whether or not this helps, thought I give this thread a little bump for some help. Thanks for moving this forward folks!

Login problems have been solved with Joomla-SMF 1.1RC1.  Check the Joomla -SMF 1.1.x board for more information.

Hi,

I have upgraded all my Joomla-SMF tools, and the login process is still failing...

My configuration:
=================
- Joomla 1.0.7
- SMF 1.1RC2
- Joomla-SMF bridge component 1.1RC1
- mod_smf_login 1.4

Bridge settings:
Integration mode: Wrappled
Hide emails in SMF profile on sync: Yes
Always redirect to forum on login: No
Registration module to use: SMF

My problem:
===========
The SMF login box which is presented to you when you click on the activation URL (received in your activation email) does not work.
When you click on the link, the web page says the activation was OK, and presents you with a form to login, which fails. The failure message is:
"You were unable to login. Please check your cookie settings."

All the other login forms (from SMF or from Joomla via mod_smf_login) are working properly now, with this new version.
Note that it was not the case with the previous bridge&mod versions: the main SMF login form (the one available as a link in SMF header) was not working either, but now it is OK...

So: what has been modified that could explain that all SMF login forms are working properly now, except the one presented just after the account activation ?

Thanks again for this great work guys ! For me, it's getting very close to be  usable, so any suggestion is highly welcomed !
