Joomla pathway / breadcrumbs don't display correctly on some content items.
Using Joomla 1.0 and am using the following components: - extend menu + extend menu pathway - iJoomla survey - Jpromoter - JCE admin - xmap sitemap - swMenuFree (not using it, will be removed shortly)
I'm not using joomla's root/core "mainmenu" menu instead I've created a new menu called "mymenu". Menus and submenus work perfectly, the first 50 content items show the right breadcrumbs path. New content items show the right path as well.
Now there is apparently a gray area of content items that I deleted and recreated, those keep showing only "Home" in the pathway (non active link). Now these content items are unpublished in the menumanager (list of faq items). If I even enable those content items by publishing them they still keep showing "Home" in the pathway.
I have a feeling that it might have something to do with double content Itemid's or id's not sure my tech knowledge doesn't reach that far.
1. how do I get rid of the incorrect "Home" in the pathway for those "bad" content items (tried recreating them several times and made new links as well, didn't help.
2. Is there a way to unpublish the menu items and still get a correct pathway?
3. how can I modify the pathway to get path's to sections and or categories instead. I just want to be able to manipulate it for those bad content items to show something more meaning full than a unlinked "Home" path.

goes on much longer with the same kind of messages:
Hi, I've been using the jsmf bridge for ages now and must say it's brilliant.
However, after updating to php5 yesterday I noticed some problems with the bridge. Some topics are suddenly not shown anymore, for example a thread has 2 pages and you click on the link to show the last post and that is shown. When you then click on the link of the first page you suddenly get an empty page (without errors though).
When I open the SMF forum outside of joomla the page is shown correctly.
This also happens without SEF url's on 2 other sites of mine (hosted on the same server, also using joomla, smf and jsmf).
I'm using Joomla 1.0.15 and SMF 1.1.6 and the latest version of the bridge (which still worked well after the last SMF update and until the php update) I'm not using any caching for SMF.
I turned on debugging on one of my sites and opened a forum page that would generate an empty page. Below is the result of that, hope anyone here can help me out... (debug result in the next post, it was too long)
I've installed a smf forum into my Joomla site, and am using the Joomla-smf bridge login module. I'm not able to log in using the module however nor from forum when using the Joomla path. The only way to log in seems to be to navigate to the forum's own URL, where i'm able to log in no problem. If I then navigate back to the Joomla site the Joomla-smf login module shows me logged in, but breaks if I try to use any of the buttons (due to the Joomla-smf path they use?)
I can't help thinking i'm missing something here. I've checked all my config settings as per the bridge user guide.
Also, I notice that in the bridge "about" section in the Joomla admin panel, it's not showing the correct SMF version. Related or red herring?
I am currently working on a joomla template, but something has stumped me. In IE there is a white gap between the top nav and the right hand side nav. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I dont have this error in firefox.
Just to let you know, I am using two css's, one standard one and one for IE. So if there is a solution in css that will bug up the page appearance in firefox, this is no problem.
